*Every Family will pay a $200 Volunteer Bond fee at Registration.*
($200 will be reimbursed when fundraising is completed)

A Note from our President & Board
Hello Hockey Families, it’s time to plan for our 2024/2025 season and I know your all eager to sign up! There are some big changes this year, mostly in the fees. Just like everything else, they have gone up. We know that sucks, we hate to do it, if we could provide free registration for everyone, every year we would! But, unfortunately there are many costs to running a minor hockey association. Ice time costs, reffing, tournament fees, etc it adds up. We’ve done our best to keep registration as low as we can while still providing a few perks. (eg coats, gala supper etc.) Our fees are in line with what other towns are charging. While we are not trying to profit, we also cannot sustain a constant deficit budget. Our goal is a balanced budget. We want to keep Grimshaw Minor Hockey running for a long time and financial stability is a huge part of that. Keeping our players though is an even bigger part, without hockey players and parents we don’t exist. In order to help those players and parents navigate this increase in fees, we will offer payment plans and if needed we have access to multiple programs to cover fees and help with equipment, please feel free to ask! If the new fees mean your child may not be able to play please let us know and we will do everything we can to get them on the ice. We love our players and our parents and we can’t wait until our 2024-25 season starts! We would love to see you all back at the rink. This could be our best year yet, you don’t want to miss it!
